I've update the ultra-realistic photos on the about page to include an incredibly accurate photo of Jim Hawkins. I've had some requests from the fan base, so I had to appease them. They were relentless.
Here's an educational video about fan bases:
Mike Stallcup has left the PRs. He was the PR sound man, and he handled nearly all of the logistics, setup, and teardown for PR performances. The PRs are going in a different direction with our sound setup, and Mike felt that it would be a good time for him to step down. We will miss his dedicated, hard work. We wish him the best in all future endeavors. Thanks, Mike!
Go now and listen to DBryan sing "Easy". He's silky smooth, baby!
The Purple Ravens will be playing at the "Parrots of the Carribean" party in Madison, AL on Saturday 25 Aug 2007. "Parrots" is a casual, fun party that is open to the public. For more information visit the Parrots of the Carribean web page.
During the summer of 2007, the Ravens recorded a number of demo tunes. Excerpts from those recordings are available for download. Go to the Sounds page to get a sample of PR songs.
The Purple Ravens welcome Jim Hawkins as the newest member of the band. Jim replaces lead guitarist Mike Darnell, who has taken a job in Columbus, OH. Although Mike will be sorely missed, the Ravens are excited to have Mr. Hawkins in the group.
The Purple Ravens have a MySpace page, which you can reach by clicking here. It doesn't have much that isn't here, but you can become a friend of the Ravens. Please. Currently, our only friend is Tom.
